One of my favourite brands as a young boy growing up in Sydney was holiday visits to Luna Park – our cities main amusement park. The brand has been hot and cold over the past decade in terms of its appeal but it’s fantastic to see they are now jumping onto integrating social technologies to amplify the amusement park experience. You can now share the experience in real time and it’s all linked to your wrist band you get on entry. The My Experience idea is a neat example of how they’ve integrated Facebook’s social functions around status updates, photo tagging into the Luna Park experience. Great to see a little Aussie brand innovating in this space.
