I love brands that actually create culture, especially for a cause. Have just come across a cool little campaign from an unlikely suspect in Worksafe Victoria. Apparently, 15-24yr old Aussies are the most likely to be injured at work, so to combat this they came up with an idea called ‘The Big Mouth Project’. Bringing big mouths to life so to speak. They commissioned renowned UK artist D*Face to create a massive mouth and display it at Luna Park in St Kilda. Great piece of sculpture, and I’ve been told there are more mouths coming. For me, this is the type of idea which connects with Aussie youth, simple message that gets them engaged and talking…quite literally to use their mouth and speak up if there is an issue in the workplace threatening their safety.
